Dogs are creatures of habit. They respond to structure and consistency. Happy Hodor is a one-man and one-dog operation. Trevor's the man, and Hodor's the dog.
Put your mind at ease knowing that your pup is exercising with attentive, individual care, every walk.
I'll work with your schedule to establish a set weekly routine, providing your dog a sense of daily purpose. In knowing exactly who's coming and when they'll arrive, your pooch will be provided the structure they wish for. One walker means consistent expectations of behaviour, and knowing how to succeed within those expectations.
Your dog will arrive home happy and fulfilled!
Hi! I'm Trevor. I'm a certified professional pet dog trainer, and a graduate of the International Academy of Canine Trainers. I studied under Amber Cottle in Delta, B.C., and completed my certificate program in June of 2018.
In addition, I'm certified in canine first aid, and have been working as a dog walker for over two years without incident!
Hodor is the lovable lummox that inspired Trevor to pursue a dog-related career. He's a purebred Bernese mountain dog. Berners are know as a loving, social breed, and Hodor is that and more.
Hodor helps Trevor to determine the best pack placement for all new pups.
I believe in establishing pack roles through positive reinforcement of good habits rather than the threat of consequence for bad ones. I treat the members of the Happy Hodor pack with respect and patience. That's the path to a happy, healthy dog!
“Trevor’s been working with our pup Bernie since he was 10 weeks and has been an integral part of Bernie’s training and daily exercise. He is extremely flexible with our unpredictable schedules, detail-oriented and responsible. We know Bernie is always receiving special care and attention from him. Bernie clearly adores Trevor. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a dog walker that will treat their pup as his own!”
"Not only is Trevor brilliant with Levi, he's also become like a member of his pack. Not only do we trust him implicitly, but now Levi can't wait for his time with Trevor!
When Levi comes home, he's happy, content, and most importantly ready for a nap."
""Loo is very small. She is a meek little thing and doesn’t always do well in a pack. Trevor always pays close attention to her to make sure she is comfortable and confident in her walks, even when she's surrounded by very large dogs. We highly recommend Trevor as a dog walker! We've always found him to be friendly, trustworthy and dedicated. "
